Happy Together at St. Mary's Flat!

Among the most memorable moments I had in England happened in the very place where we stayed -- on the FLAT.  It has been the silent witness of all our laughters, my sadness (during the times when I missed home), lazy moments and my ever-classic "bloopers" in running a house all by myself, hahahaha.

This made me wondered again: How I could have not imagined then, more than a decade ago, while sitting indifferently beside each other in the cold floor of our High School classroom -- us, as young persons-- are in fact, in the future, destined to be together in another part of the world.

The moments captured below are sincerely dearest to me, simple memories that will forever stay in my heart... :-)

The silent neighborhood with an old, creepy church at the end of the street.
You can literally count in your fingers the people passing by.

We are at Flat 3!

Alvin at the Garage's Gate.

The back of the apartment as viewed  from the garage.
Alvin's flat is on the 2F, white window on the right.

The flat was horizontally designed, with this small corridor
leading to the living/dining area, kitchen and the room.

Living and Dining Area.

Alvin bought this painting to give some color at the living room.

The kitchen.
Sole witness of my cooking escapades.
:-)

The little  fridge and our favorite snacks:
crisps, pasta, orange juice, pizza, cookies, fruits and milk.

kape, tsaa, asukal
:-)

Yummy tomatoes!
Expensive tomatoes!

Free-range eggs!
Expensive eggs!

Our all-time favorite wherever we may go...
:-)

It's raining....

...and cold.

The view from the flat's window.

The scene I stared to from morning 'till afternoon.
Sigh...

Our grocery destination: Morrisons!!!!

Morrisons is just a ten minute walk from the flat,
but since it's quite cold we still drive our way to it.

Pictures of Alvin that I collected whenever he comes home for lunch.
I remember that I always look forward to:
12nn - because he'll be home for lunch
and
6pm - because he'll be home from work.
:-)

My first-ever Sinigang!
Sarap!!!

Our alternative meal:
Pasta and Pizza!!!

Excited to eat, gutom na!

Me too! Dinner time!

Hahaha, our ice cream feasts!
We always have Magnum Ice Cream because a box of it
is oftentimes buy-one, take-one at Morrisons.
Happy, happy, happy...

Rowsie's Insane Moments.
Alvin's Snobbish Moments.

Watching our favorite TV Show: Hogan Knows Best!
A reality show of Hulk Hogan's family escapades.

It's either we are watching TV or working in our computers...
or
doing both....
:-)

PlayStation3,
the game that, I, Rose, never learned to enjoy.

Oooops, what are you watching???
It's a makeover show!
:-)

Was busy coming up with our itinerary for Scotland.

Sunset at 9:00pm.

Last Day in Kent

My five-week holiday in UK has come to an end.  With this, we spent my last afternoon in Rochester Castle.  It was a mixed feeling for me -- I'm happy to leave because I already miss home, and sad because  Alvin will still stay here for a few months more.  And of course, I will definitely miss "us" and all our adventures in this place, sniff...

We had good memories here, happy thoughts that we can look back during the rest of our lives...

Bye River Medway...

At the Pier

Sad na sya...

We actually had a silent afternoon today.
Basically savoring every moment together in silence.

Perfect jump, again?!?

Enjoying youthful moments.
Who says we can't be like children again?

Alvin was very happy in having both of us visiting him in England.
