Alvin already left for Algeria last Sunday, February 27. :-( Good thing my 3 year old nephew, Nash, was in the house and somehow, my loneliness was diverted because of his kakulitan.
At bedtime, I wasn't able to contain my loneliness and I shed some few tears before going to sleep. Nash, who was then looking intently at me, with his little face worried and sad, told me after a while:
"Tita, iyak ka? Sali ka sa *(Going) Bulilit?"
("Tita, are you crying? Are you going to audition for (Going) Bulilit?")
I smiled in an instant... touched by Nash's love to me and his pure innocence.
How simple life is for the little children!
