Kuwait

Kuwait was Alvin's first work site back in April to August 2007.  Time flies so fast that it felt like it was just only yesterday when we packed his things for this trip:

Sad boy. :-(
Happy Girl. :-)

A stay in Middle East will not be complete without a pose with the camels...

With colleagues.

Welcome!

Hello Everyone!

I am Rose and I guess I will be the one doing most of the blogs here. :-) Well hopefully, Alvin will also find time to write here soon, and that "soon" will be by the time I'll inform him that I have started this site, hehe... I mentioned this to him and he has kept on asking whether I already started it and all I say is "No, not yet.." and then he'll say that I'll never be able to do it given my tardiness to write. Oh well, we all know now that he's wrong because I'm already here! :-)

Just the same, welcome to us!

In this year and age of social networking sites, I remain to be facebook-less, friendster-less, twitter-less and so many other "less" that one internet savvy individual can think of. It's just that these social networking sites has transformed into a wild jungle for me, it's hard for one to get out once you immersed yourself on it. And everyone you knew [and not knew but knows you, or knows the one who knew you (I chose not to go on for more permutations)] is there which makes it somewhat a LITTLE bit scary. There's a huge load of interaction on a day-to-day basis, and the information exchanges are on a per minute basis. C'mon, it's fun to be connected, its great to be sharing what's latest with your inner and the next inner circles, it's soooo good be in touched. But I just cannot keep up on its furiously fast pace.

So what a big leap it is to finally, finally, and finally kicking the door to the net-world to share the happenings of my life. So you may ask, what's the difference does blogging have with the rest? Well, I believe writing makes sharing more meaningful. You get to share not just mere pictures but deep thoughts when you are writing. You get to have your readers feel exactly the way you have felt on a certain experience. Your sharing has more feelings. :-)

So this is what we hope to do with this site. It will be about Alvin and I's adventures (and misadventures) as we continue to carry on the phases of our blessed lives.

So come... take a peek!
